EP Permed first In-situ Visit

EP PerMed held the first in a series of in-situ visits in Stockholm, Sweden on 11-12 November.
The EP PerMed in-situ visits to selected personalised medicine centres aim specifically to provide real-life examples of successful personalised medicine research, innovation and implementation in healthcare systems, and to inform the EP PerMed stakeholder community about ongoing activities in EU Member States.
Genomic Medicine Sweden (GMS) is a national infrastructure for the implementation of precision medicine across the country, which was launched in 2018. Since then, the initiative has expanded and regional precision medicine centres are being established, of which GMS is a central component.
EP Permed ELSA Symposium

The EP PerMed Symposium on Ethical, Legal and Social Aspects of Personalised Medicine addressed the main ethical challenges in personalised medicine research in order to raise awareness and train researchers by addressing ELSA issues in personalised medicine from a macro approach (ethics of new technologies) to a specific approach (ethics, legal issues, privacy issues and artificial intelligence (AI) in personalised medicine).
The event took place in a hybrid format with around 120 participants on site and online on 26 September 2024 in Brussels, Belgium.
EP Permed first Round Table

EP PerMed organised a roundtable discussion on ‘De-risking Innovation in Personalised Medicine’ on 27 May 2024 in Brussels. The event accompanied the Belgian Presidency of the EU and aimed to shape the future of healthcare in the Benelux region and beyond.
Our round table on Personalised Medicine promised to spark important conversations, drive innovation and foster collaboration towards a healthcare landscape that is personalised. We invited professionals who are passionate about advancing healthcare to register now and be part of this transformative journey.
The event was organised by EP PerMed Partner EIT Health and was open to industry leaders, clinicians, healthcare providers, patient advocates, policy makers, government agencies, data specialists, researchers and academics.
