The overall purpose of the workshop is to contribute to the dissemination of the notion that scientific research, once conducted ethically, accurately, and transparently (namely through the adherence to principles of integrity, truthfulness, transparency, responsibility, confidentiality, fairness, and others), may increase public, scientific peers, and policy makers’ trust, reliability and accountability.

Intensive, advanced training on scientific integrity will be provided, in a session focusing (among other issues) on:

  • the most significant guidelines of the European Code of Conduct;
  • the key principles of research integrity;
  • the crucial procedures of good research practice;
  • the ethical way of disseminating, communicating & exploiting the research results;
  • the Ethics Compliance under Horizon Europe.

The workshop is specifically tailored to the personalised medicine scientific community (researchers, clinicians and healthcare providers), applying to EP PerMed (and other) potential funding schemes, dealing with ethics compliance considerations, from the submission to the execution phase of their scientific projects.

For pedagogical reasons, only a limited number of 30 trainees can be admitted.

EP PerMed will cover the costs of the trainers, location and catering. All the other costs (accommodation, travel) will not be covered.

Interested researchers, clinicians and healthcare providers are invited to submit their application through the form below
