EATRIS is the European infrastructure for translational medicine. It brings together resources and services for research communities to translate scientific discoveries into benefits for patients. EATRIS is what is known as an ‘ERIC’, which is a non-profit European Research Infrastructure Consortium. This specific legal form is designed to facilitate the joint establishment and operation of research infrastructures of European interest.

The policy brief provides detailed evidence and recommendations to support decision-makers, research institutions and innovators navigating Europe’s evolving digital health landscape. It was developed to inform policymakers and competent authorities about the regulatory challenges and opportunities emerging from digital transformation in health research.

A summary and the full policy brief are available on the EATRIS website.
