The European Commission will host an information webinar on 12 October 2026, starting at 10:00 CEST (Central European Summer Time), on pre-commercial procurement (PCP) in Horizon Europe.
Organised by the Commission’s Health Innovation and Ecosystems Unit and the EU Cancer Mission, the session will present two 2027 funding topics:
- Cancer technologies, medical devices and medicines: HORIZON-MISS-2027-02-CANCER-05 supports the joint development of affordable, innovative solutions for healthcare systems under the EU Cancer Mission.
- Health adaptation to climate change: HORIZON-HLTH-2027-01-ENVHLTH-MISSCLIMA-03 focuses on tools and technologies to support health adaptation to climate change. It is a joint topic between Cluster 1 (Health) and the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.
Both topics support consortia of procurers seeking to jointly commission the development of innovative solutions. They do not provide direct research and development funding to developers, industry or research organisations. These organisations can instead respond to the tenders launched by the funded consortia.
The webinar will take place via Webex, and registration is required. Questions will only be accepted through Slido, using the code #HORIZON. A recording will be published on the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) website and the Research and Innovation Community platform.
