Networking Projects

Funded under ERA PerMed JTC2018 and EP PerMed JTC2024

This networking event will focus on the main challenges of putting personalised medicine (PM) into everyday healthcare. These include difficulties with real-world implementation, limited experience with health economic (HE) modelling in genomics, and the ongoing need for better collaboration across countries and sectors. The event will bring together participants from the B1MGplus, GEPARD, and CLL-OUTCOME projects, along with a wide range of stakeholders from research, healthcare, health economics, health technology assessment, policy, and patient organisations. By creating space for open discussion, the event will encourage collaboration and the sharing of knowledge and practical experience. Participants will explore barriers to using PM in healthcare, exchange ideas and approaches to HE modelling, and build stronger links between disciplines and countries. The expected outcomes include shared input to support the development of HE models for genomics, practical steps to help integrate PM into healthcare systems, and the creation of a lasting network to support continued collaboration after the event.

This event will be arranged at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm early 2027
