Networking Projects

Funded under ERA PerMed JTC2018 and JTC2019

Allergic conditions such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, and food allergies affect millions of people in Europe. Especially individuals with severe symptoms experience major limitations in their daily lives. Although new treatments and diagnostic tests are available, they still reach patients only to a limited extent in everyday clinical practice. In this project, two European consortia, PERMEABLE and POC4Allergies, will collaborate to promote personalized allergy care. By joining forces and organising a joint networking event, the project aims to identify existing barriers and work towards narrowing the gap between scientific research and routine allergy care.

The networking event is jointly organised by the ERAPerMed projects PERMEABLE and POC4Allergies. It aims to bring together key translational stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, implementation specialists, health IT experts, pharmaceutical industry partners, regulators, public health specialists and patient representatives. This project aims to strengthen collaboration across disciplines and sectors to support implementation of personalised allergy care. The networking event will take place in Amsterdam (the Netherlands), exact dates to be decided.
