The EP PerMed podcast, ‘The Science of You’, won the Life Science Excellence Award in the ‘Best Commucation Project of the Year’ category. The award ceremony took place in Milan last week during the Innovation Festival, promoted by Homnya. The award recognises outstanding and innovative projects in the fields of research, education and scientific communication in the life sciences that are designed for patients or clinicians.

The EP PerMed colleagues from Toscana Life Sciences, who are coordinating the podcast’s production, received the award in Milan.
The first season of the podcast explores major public health challenges through the lens of personalised medicine. It is narrated by Silvia Lazzaris, a science communicator, author, and reporter, and produced by Chora Media. Alongside researchers, physicians and scientists, Lazzaris explores the new frontiers of medicine, shedding light on the key insights and innovations that have led to personalised medicine emerging as a comprehensive approach to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring.
The second season of the podcast is already underway, and it brings us powerful stories of patients and former patients who have benefited from personalised medicine. Covering topics ranging from oncology and rare genetic disorders to preventive surgery and cardiovascular diseases, the podcast brings real human experiences to life and demonstrates how bespoke therapies are transforming the treatment process into a more effective and informed one.
🥳 Congratulations to our colleagues from Toscana Life Sciences and Chora Media! 👏
