Researchers and innovators funded by EP PerMed can publish free of charge on Open Research Europe (ORE). Relaunched on 2 November 2026, the platform offers open access publishing with transparent peer review and a wide choice of article formats.
Research, innovation and implementation projects funded through EP PerMed are eligible to publish their results on Open Research Europe. The platform accepts research articles, study protocols, method articles, data notes and software tool articles, as well as negative findings and confirmatory results. These formats offer opportunities to share study designs, analytical methods and research tools alongside their findings. Articles undergo editorial and integrity checks before publication, followed by open peer review. Reviewer reports and identities are published alongside the article, making the assessment process transparent. There are no article processing charges for eligible authors, and publications are freely available to readers.
