The CONNECT‑Epi project aims to implement personalised medicine in pediatric epilepsy surgery by transferring advanced diffusion MRI tractography expertise from King’s College London to Meyer Children’s Hospital. Its core objective is to enable the integration of patient-specific brain connectivity mapping into routine surgical planning and intraoperative guidance, allowing treatment decisions to be tailored to each child’s unique neuroanatomy. By building local capacity through training, protocol harmonisation, and the establishment of standardised workflows, the project seeks to improve surgical precision, increase seizure‑free outcomes, and reduce the risk of postoperative neurological deficits. Overall, the Twinning partnerships aims to create a sustainable and scalable model for personalised neurosurgical care that can be adopted by other centres across Europe.
