The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Heads of Medicines Agencies (HMA) will organise the European Platform for Regulatory Science Research Meeting on 29 September 2025 to bring together academic researchers and regulators to advance regulatory science research, strengthen collaboration, and foster translation of research into useful solutions for developers and regulators. During the meeting, the following topics are planned for discussion: Spotlight on funding opportunities at EU level and ways of involving regulators in scientific projects; Working on biomarkers – research landscape and evidence generation; Showcasing EMA’s Clinical Data Publication and use by researchers. In this context, representatives from EP PerMed will provide an overview of the partnership and its funding opportunities for researchers in this area.
