PerMed Summer School 2025
The
first EP PerMed Summer School on Innovation, Technology
Transfer and Entrepreneurship in Personalised Medicine
will be hosted from 03 to 06 June 2025 in Palermo,
Italy. The aim of the event is to provide basic
knowledge on economic, regulatory and legal requirements
to researchers dedicated to personalised medicine who
wish to start a company or have research results they
wish to commercialise.

Portugal
The
2nd edition of the EP PerMed Round Table will take place
on 31 March 2025. The event will focus on Spain and
Portugal, bringing together key stakeholders to address
challenges, share success stories and promote concrete
actions in personalised medicine. The discussion will be
live-streamed to ensure access to this critical
debate.

EP
PerMed hosted a Workshop on Scientific Integrity as a
satellite event of the EP PerMed Conference on
Personalised Medicine Research on 12 and 13 February
2025 in Berlin (Germany). The workshop was mainly
designed for the scientific community in personalised
medicine applying to EP PerMed funding or other funding
opportunities.

on 11 and 12 November 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Romania’s
Pioneering Law: Establishing the Right to Personalised
Medicine
This
best practice example discusses Romania’s groundbreaking
law, the first in the world to recognise the right of
citizens and patients to personalised medicine.
Initiated following the EU Council’s 2015 personalised
medicine policy, the law is the result of a
multi-sectoral collaboration led by the Centre for
Innovation in Medicine in Romania.

Impactful Research in Personalised Medicine: The
PARADISE project
EP
PerMed has published its first success story of
impactful research and collaborations in personalised
medicine. The PARADISE project aims to develop a
deployable, personalised predictive tool that accurately
assesses an individual's immune system activation. By
tailoring medication dosages, PARADISE aims to redefine
the way autoimmune diseases are managed, significantly
improving patient care and quality of life.
