EJP Rare Diseases is offering a new five-week online course to explore the latest therapeutic treatments being developed in medical research, such as: gene therapy, protein-based treatments, regenerative medicine, cell therapy and tissue engineering.
Personalised medicine tailors treatments to patients’ genetic and individual characteristics, improving efficacy and reducing side effects, as opposed to the ‘one size fits all’ approach. It aims to provide targeted, preventive care, improve outcomes and involve patients in their treatment, which is crucial for rare diseases.
By the end of this course, you will have a better understanding of advanced therapeutic approaches and their potential to revolutionise treatment options for people living with rare diseases.
