EP PerMed at Belgian presidency ‘Healthcare of the Future’ Conference

Converging technologies, such as bio-, and nanotechnologies, engineering, digitalisation and big data have transformational power to drive research and innovation towards healthcare of the future, which were compelling topic of prominent academics and policy makers at the Belgium presidency conference.

In line with presentations from selected health-related European partnerships, EP PerMed partner Malin Eklund (VINNOVA, Sweden) gave an overview of the European Partnership for Personalised Medicine and focused on the actions which aim to support the rapid uptake of personalised medicine approaches as innovations in the health care systems.

The following slot provided an opportunity to delve deeper into the critical role of European Partnerships in Research & Innovation in driving innovation and transformation in healthcare.
